Very nice! I was afraid the Alter Bridge would get abandoned after the Creed reunion and with Myles off working with Slash. Glad to see a new disc coming out!

Yeah, it's basically Creed with real awesome singer, playing really awesome heavy rock. I mean, check out this song... The intro sounds like a very popular Prog metal band around here that a few years back played a really long set on Friday night with an orchestra... Eversomething

yeah, because Creed sucked until they teamed up with Myles who if you don't already own the two Mayfield Four albums...you should. this isn't even their best song, but since Sony never really gave them a chance this is what you get.

Disagree with you Matthew about Creed sucking especially on the Full Circle album which was a great comeback IMO. People like to hate on Scott Stapp but he sang brilliantly on the comeback and much better than any previous Creed album. Creed is like everyone's fave band to hate in modern rock which is not really fair considering that AB are basically Creed as you said. I guess people have a huge problem with Stapp's vox although I can't see why cause the guy was fuckin' awesome on Full Circle and he really deserves the use of the expletive before the word awesome!
Still having defended Creed's album from last year it is still nowhere near as good as AB cause of Myles in the main but Tremonti seems to write slightly differently for Creed than for AB. He seems to save more guitar acrobatics for AB and leave the regular rock riffs for Creed and hence people like AB much more, IMO anyway.

i actually like some Creed (just good radio rock) stuff but on the whole they cannot compete with the two AB albums in my book simply because Stapp cannot hold a candle to Kennedy.

This is great to hear! I was afraid that Myles would get the shaft after the Creed reunion last year. AB's first two albums I can toss in anytime and enjoy from beginning to end.

Another new song. Sounds good but not getting a really great feeling from it. It just seems a good AB song. Maybe it will grow on me. Deep emotional lyrics as per usual though.
