New Anthrax record update

In short, the new record is about 60% done, and expected to drop at the end of the year. Some new song titles too, which is cool:

- White Lightning
- Monster at the End
- The Battle Chose Us
- Evil Twin
- You Gotta Believe
- Epic (working title only)

Soror Irrumator will definitely not be on the record. Doesn't sound like they'll use Alex Ross again for the artwork. Anyways, good interview - definitely worth a read.

It won't be on the album because they don't own the rights to the song - HBO does. Legally speaking, they're in the same situation as a band who covers a song they didn't get the rights to; they can play it live, but they can't release/distribute it (Without permission, that is). My guess is that's part of the reason they've had hardly any big names for these GOT mix tapes - no one really wants to sign away the rights to one of their songs to HBO.

Word is that they have enough songs for a double album (and wanted to release a double too - but it's not going to happen) so no need for Sorror to be on the new one.

Already had surgery on it actually but his rehab hasn't gone as well as hoped.
