I'm jumping on the bandwagon with both feet on the new one. I have really enjoyed all of the previous releases, but the latest is a step up into the big leagues.

Chops + crunch + melody + big chorus = Win.

that song was seriously killer. The pacing reminded me a lot of "Snowbound" from Andromeda Unchained, from the use of the jangly guitars to the huge multi layered chorus to the instrumental bit at the end. That's the most listened to song in my library according to my ipod and this sits right there with it.

I tell you what. I'm heading straight for the Nightmare table to pick this bad boy up!

WOW, already shipped the 100 CD's for this one, only will have 100 at the show, first come first served, others will have to pick it up at the normal places, if you want to get it fast, it goes live today on itunes for just $5.99 (price updated after viewing it on itunes) at that price everyone in the world should have it, it's that good!

I'm having trouble getting this to work here at the office, but....

"Anubis Gate’s fifth album, and first for Nightmare Records, is a must-own for any fan of classic ’80s metal and power metal. The Danish sextet claim influences ranging from Queensryche, Iced Earth and Fates Warning, but they’ve developed their own sound over the course of their career, culminating in the heavy, yet melodic self-titled album. While you’ll be able to find it in stores and online on Tuesday (13), you can stream it in its entirety right here at Metal Insider."
