I am a new arrival here, from Denver, CO, mostly into the more melodic side of extreme metal (Dark Tranquillity, Ablaze My Sorrow, Gardenian, Dissection), although listen to nearly anything from Paradise Lost through Blood Duster and in between.
I play bass and sing in a melodic death metal band Midgard ( www.midgardmetal.com ), and also play bass in Mandrake ( www.mp3.com/MetalMandrake ) - check these out.
BTW, any fans of Aria or Master (the Russian band, not the American one) out here?
