New Cannibal Corpse song "Sadistic Embodiment" from the upcoming album "A Skeletal Domain" recorded and mixed afaik by Mark Lewis.

It sure sounds different from older CC albums, songwriting is more thrashy and old-school imho and the bass is more prominent, more
mids in the guitars and less distorted

The mix sounds of course a bit unusual after all the Erik Rutan mixed records, but I also like it. Especially that we're able to here Alex' bass

Yep, the bass is way more audible, not an ultra clean hifi sound, a bit more gritty and the guitars make room for it now.
I always liked the CC productions, it worked well for them, but I can see the direction they're heading in.

MArk has been killing it on everything he has been doing as of late. I am stoked on this new CC album. Bloodthirst is still my all time favorite CC album.
