New Caulfield - intensely pissed off metalcore, reamped by Harvey

Sounds great IMO. I personally would add some verb onto the vox, just because I really like hearing some reverb when the rest of the band play staccato like silence.

Also are the guitars edited at all?

yes, DI's are edited with protools elastic audio before they get reamped. some people say that's an illegitimate method. to those people i say, my stool in your eye. i agree the vox are too dry at times...there's a tiny bit of verb, but i stink at it. i think i need to buy softube TSAR-1. i think i'll get the demo right before i release this record and see how much i can get done in my 30 day window.

For the whole verb thing, I use MatrixReverb that came with logic. It's my go to reverb for everything. Usually I like hall reverbs and large room. Usually 15-20% mix level will do, but you can always automate it to make it cut through the mix better in places.
