I got promo of the new cephalic thru the other day and yeah loving it!
Definately best mix they've had.
Guitars just sound massive, gotta be 5150 right?
I personally might have turned snare up a smidge but thats just personal taste.
There was a thread about recording deathy vox recently wasnt there? just ask dave what he did on this album as the vocals r probably the best recorded low deathy stuff i've heard for ages, really brutal but still clear and legible.

That suprises me, sounds much thicker than mesas usually do, figured it'd be 5150 or maybe soldano or diezel.
