I'm liking it, I've been an on-off fan of cradle for years but this is some of the best stuff I've heard from them.

The section around 3:30 reminds me of Martin's vox on The Clan Destined stuff.

I hate CoF, but the mix is decent. I just hate them so much it is hard to try and listen to them.

The kick manages to sound both clicky and like the skin is flapping about in the breeze at the same time crazy... not to my tastes, but it's certainly different, and it's clear as a bell the whole way through the song.

I think the song is a bit dull though - I thought they were talking about getting really technical on this album? Even the vocals seem really toned down and restrained to me.

it cracks me up that anyone would try to judge the fine points of a mix based on a 128kbps .wma stream.... i mean, it's easy to hear that it's a good, solid production... but going to finer points like the "body" in a kick sound is just stretching. it's a 128kbps .wma file people!! ... and please, no bs about how you're used to making critical judgements listening to such a low res, crappy codec... i've heard these mixes at signifcantly higher quality encoding from Andy and i can tell you right now that no judgement you can make from this crappy stream will hold water when you hear it encoded higher res, or better yet, when you check out the actual CD. fuggedabowdit.

Fair enough James.
But don't take it wrong, I'm not judging (who am I btw?), just sharing my first impressions. And what I am saying basically is just that it doesn't seem to be the "typical sneap sound" I got used to (if that makes sense) .
Nevermind. I'm not the greatest COF fan but I love Andy's work regardless.

I also thought the kick a little weird, but I was going to keep silent about it until the cd comes out. I like Andy's production, and I enjoy COF...they're fun to listen to, and you can't (at least I can't) take them too seriously. They're talented and fun, and I put them almost with Scatterbrain as a fun band...not that they're anything like Scatterbrain, mind you...

The drums sound very sneap to me, guitars sound nice. Not a lot of Cradle stuff grabs me musically, and this is one of those songs. but then again, I am drunk.

Edit: Where are the keys?!? Very suprised since they're usually a big part of Cradle's sound. Sounds almost like Kreator, with Dani's vox, on this song.
