I must say I like it, has a lot of suave vibe, and Gillan still sounds the way it should be.

I hit play and the song delayed playing by about a minute so when it finally started playing I went "Why am I listening to Jorn?" "Oh, this is Deep Purple."

The song is decent, but sounds way more like 90s adult contemporary than Perfect Strangers, Black Knight or Smoke on the Water.

I suppose time takes a toll in all of us, even Deep Purple (what makes me shiver thinking about Black Sabbath expectations).

I need to listen to the whole album anyway, my hopes is that it will rollover the last one that is very weak. I feel alright if they pull another "Bananas".

I wasn't into it at all. I respect the current incarnation of the band though but it just isn't the same without Lord and Blackmore.

That's easy: don't have any. No Bill Ward and Rick Rubin producing = hope for the best, but expect the worst.

"All the Time" is pretty cool. Nice laid back bluesy vibe... something a little different from DP. First thing that came to mind was Eric Clapton's "Pilgrim" album.

Nice guitar solo in the middle of "Hell to Pay", otherwise a bit unremarkable.
