I used to like Deicide. But that song contains a Power Metal solo. WTF is this?
But the video itself is cool - I like it. Don't care too much for their new record.

The video's kinda cheasy but I do like the song. And I like the solo. Owen and the other dude (name escapes me at the moment) got skill, but I liked Owen better in Corpse.

The other player is Ralph Santolla (ex-Iced Earth). He looks like a DM version of Bob Geldorf in that video. Anyways, after a few more listening I can stand his soloing - good song.

what i was thinking was when scars of the crucifix came out...the hoffmans just learned how to do sweeps, cause every solo was just a 30 second sweep.

Deicde has finally released an album that i can listen to from beginning to end. Santoall and Owen slay. Crucified for THe Innocence is insanely melodic and my favorite on the album. The middle part in Stench of Redemption starting at about 1:30 is fucking awesome.
