# Jan 'Katla' Jämsen 1997-2001 (vocals) (Retired due to a throat tumor which made him unable to sing.)

# Teemu 'Somnium' Raimoranta (guitar) (Died 2003 in a supposed alcohol-related falling accident, though Mika Luttinen, vocalist from Impaled Nazarene, has gone on the record saying that his death was a suicide, and that he only had the equivalent of three beers in his system at the time of death.)

I got drunk with them last year at Evolution Festival. After the last day of the festival we were all partying next to our tents on the last night, and the guys from Finntroll just walk up and start drinking with us.

Italians drink a lot, this is true. So do the English. I've never seen anyone drink as much as Finntroll and not pass out or vomit or anything.

They're very nice guys, though. The guitarist is really funny and mellow and a huge 70's music fan. We both dig a lot of the same music like Amorphis and such. He said the new Amorphis singer live is twice what he is on the album, which blows my mind.

Then he went off and fucked some Italian girl that was a friend of a friend...she came back from the beach with her skirt on backwards and hiked up way too high, flashing everyone. Weird, weird night.
