pretty cool. Terra Incognita is still my favorite because it has this badass old school metal feel to it. "Clone" is fucking good. Kinda like how the first two Opeth albums had that "old school" metal sound to it compared to the rest of their career, so does Gojira's first one. They were still on the path to finding their more unique sound that they achieved later with Mars to Sirius. The Link was like "the link" between Terra and Mars. One way to see it I guess.

Terra Incognita also has the best album title and riffs. Some of the bridge riffs on the songs on that album are the most crushing sounds I've ever heard. Blow Me Away You (niverse), Deliverance, and Love all have parts that are so heavy I still to this day can't believe are true.

I almost never go to shows (just don't enjoy them) but Gojira are about the only working metal band I'd venture out to see these days.

Fucking intense. LOVE THEM.
