Update: DRAGONFORCE Axemen "Excited" To Launch Signature Guitar Series At NAMM



As previously reported, DRAGONFORCE guitar duo Herman Li and Sam Totman will launch their brand new Ibanez signature guitars at Winter NAMM 2008 next week. The E-Gen (Herman Li sig.) and the STM (Sam Totman sig.) models will be on display at the Ibanez booth (#4634) in Hall C. Herman Li commented: "I am really excited to finally see the Ibanez E-Gen being released worldwide, after the insane amount of work put in by a number of people and myself. From the thousands of e-mails sent from different time zones, to flying from London to Japan and Los Angeles back and forth numerous times. A number of prototype guitars, hardware and electronics were tested live on tour and in a recording studio to get to this instrument with new ideas and innovations."

The official full specifications of these guitars will be released next week at NAMM.

confirmed dates and times for the signing sessions are as follows:

January
18 - Ibanez (Hall C, Booth 4634) - 3:00pm
19 - Rocktron (Hall C, Booth 4684) - 1:00pm - Herman only
19 - Peavey (Hall B, Booth 5740) - 2:30pm

I think those are the models for the lads. They look tasty but as a commenter said:

"Iceman + 24 frets + Floyd = Blasphemy

IMO, the only thing cool about that guitar is that it's white...."
