Heathen keep sending me e-mails where they inform me that their albums are free for download on their website (which I already knew of), as well as these new samples etc. Thing is, I never signed up for Heathen's mailing list or whatever, I just downloaded some tracks from their page ages ago. Apropos thrash metal; as you probably know I'm going to the Inferno Metal Festival in Oslo on Thursday. Necrophagist sadly had to cancel, and the Danish thrash metal band Hatesphere had to step in for said technical DM band. Now, I'm not a die-hard fan of Necrophagist, but I do prefer them to Hatesphere and thrash metal in general. Sigh. This means the lineup is:

18.15 Chton (Above average death metal from Norway)
19.45 Mortiis (Oh well :\ )
21.15 Lamented Souls (Oh well :\ )
23.00 Amon Amarth (They're fairly alright on disc, a bit boring, but hopefully better live)

Not sure if I follow you, but if you're referring to Aura Noir - they're playing on Friday. I'm sadly not going due to lack of interest from fellow "heavy metallers".

Well, I think and might be wrong that there will be, just like last year and I might be wrong again, an Überthrash gig featuring the four thrashers you people have that were on that 7", Nocturnal Breed, Infernö, Audiopain and Aura Noir the day before Inferno or something like that... that stuff might kick Inferno's ass, you know...
