Octagon (USA) 'Artisans of Cruelty' CD (Autopsy Kitchen Records): Another disturbing release, this time it is the debut from Octagon. Pure depravity, cruelty and self abuse. A times painful to listen to with its harsh guitars and tortured vocals. Sadomasochistic black metal attack!
Runes of Dianceht (Ukr) 'Eternal call of Darkness' CD (Battlelord Productions): Dark ambient black metal again hailing from the Ukraine with extensive use of keyboards to good effect.Vocals range from whispers to shrieked. The atmospheres throughout almost create some mellow parts and the whole release has a dreamy quality to it.
Stallagh (USA) 'Nihilistic Terror' CD (Autopsy Kitchen Records): Latest release from the completely fucked up Stallagh. This CD combines the bands two earlier releases which have now been remixed and remastered to bring a completely new sound which could indicate the direction the band will be going in the future. Also included is a new track. This is by FAR the bands best and most twisted work to date. Recommended.
