Yeah - after 2 straight years of touring, I'm sure that everybody's own personal demons and habits tend to grate on each other and the break was necessary to keep NM intact. They are going to need to learn to balance everything now, since Jeff will surely be doing more guitar clinics and solo stuff while WD will be doing Sanctuary and another solo disc at some point. In all the interviews I've heard with them, they seem to make a point that it won't take another 5 years for new stuff, so let's hope that holds true.
