Just not my thing, lol. You might like it though...I dunno. It's like Gothy, Horror-esque, let's try to be really eerie/creepy music.

I like it. I've only spun it twice, but it may be their best work since "Seventh Son". In fairness, since I haven't really been impressed with any of their work after that disc.

you know, the maiden album this reminds me of the most is actually "the x factor" except not as overtly fucking dark... makes sense, i guess, what with all the war themes
especially "for the greater good of god" is like "sign of the cross" pt. II and that's a GOOD thing people

Yeah, I agree. The obvious thing on this album is that there's no obvious catchy hooks/melodies which I suppose makes it a little 'dark'.

Only been a couple of listens and I like it, but nothing has blown me away as of yet. Certainly nothing as significant as the first time I heard "Paschendale" or "Montsegur".
