new Mind's Eye

Anybody here listen to it yet? People over at PM Rising are raving it. Saying its a bit heavier than the band's past releases.

I just got through Mind's Eye's Walking on H20 and I think its one of the best prog rock/metal releases of last year, and just overall an excellent album with really high quality songs. It was also a big step above their album released 2 prior to it, Waiting for the Tide (which is very good). So curious if their recent one is even a step above that, equal to, or a step down....

They along with Prymary seem to be carrying the torch (when it comes to quality, not necessarily popularity) in this style of music.

While this band teeters on prog-rock, they have enough metal, and I think they'd make an excellent addition to the showcase or main show.

I agree. Mind's Eye should be on the roster at some point, perhaps the next one.

I'm getting a copy soon and I've been looking forward to it for a few weeks now.

It's funny. I just got my first album of theirs just last week. I am enjoying it. It is "A Work of Art". It does cover quite a musical spectrum. I planned on getting their latest album. Maybe one of the vendors at the festival will have it.
