new mix from london based band

yo guys,

spent a day with this band last week.
Recorded EVERYTHING in 8 hours, was quite a push to say the least, so all editing was done the next day before I started mixing.

You'll all hear the one stutter I wanna take out, but the band like it.

Think I went a bit overboard on the 2-buss compression too.

tbf, I mixed this after doing sound for a two day metal pub festival, so my ears were pretty much dead and gone.

Something really nasty with the vocals to me. I like the stutter stuff actually!

Bass sounds very nice.

Vocals were all double tracked, and tightened. May be some issues there?

Hmm. I dunno, it just sounds either too loud, or not scooped enough. It fills up too much of the space, imho.
