I too agree the songwriting and arrangement is sick as FUCK.

Now that I KNOW where it was recorded I'm guessing maybe Will did the whole thing which is usually the case?

The kick and snare sound heavily clipped, I think that's what it is, it might not be that but it sounds sick. The machine shop always gets sick tones. I don't think there is one record I haven't like from machine shop. Haha but yeah, lightyears ahead of corpotocracy and the harbinger.

oh dude, fuck yeah! I have a feeling Will produced/tracked/mixed. he seems to have a pension for choosing/mixing odd sounding drum sounds that I REALLY fucking dig because it makes the record instantly signature..... you hear it somewhere randomly for a second and you know exactly who it is and which record it is....

Agreed on the clipping. Defo intentional though, for sure.... just like how the SNR sound is SO strange on The Human Abstract, Digital Veil stuff but it rocks my tits off.

the bass sound and low-end is just fucking MASSIVE. it covers you like a huge throw rug and rubs itself all against you......

and the drum shells are clipped to hell and back, with an amazing room sound behind them... wonder if they tracked this at the new home of The Machine Shop?
