HEARKEN! Here we present to thee, the first offerings from our new album, ‘The Dread March of Solemn Gods’. Contained herein are three songs, anthems all, written by hearts swollen black and armoured in un-meltable ice. The music we have created for this album stems from our desire to channel everything we wished to hear from Black Metal in this is century, modern trends be damned. We proudly display on our leather sleeves the influence of the heavy metal bands of old, most long dead. An unholy tincture of black and heavy metal. It is a vast leap in scope since our first album, ‘The Blood of Celestial Kings’ (Candlelight Records), which was little more than a glorified demo at the time. This album represents the sum of near 7 years of devotion and an unwillingness to compromise on our vision for what this release and Black Metal should be.
This digital sampler is designed to spread far and wide; to be shared and to be allowed to reach the far ends of the earth. We are currently in search of an international label to release the full album in every available format and with the contacts to allow us to truly join the international touring circuit. ‘Discipline Through Black Sorcery’ is a gloriously wild, anthemic track of cold, majestic black metal; the type of which is rarely heard this side of the 20th century. It is a quest for solitude unobtainable on this Earth, where the endless beyond is the only true freedom. Hear the soaring, sinister melodies, channelled through mighty riffs with the power of ice clad winds containing the destructive power to raze feeble the temples of man. A hate filled battery of total contempt for whatever is left of this dying world. It is the soundtrack to death, life, sex & violence. It is the sound of a band pushed against the wall with nothing to lose and everything to gain. Play it loud. Summon the spectres of the ancient world.

‘The Necromanteion’ is the temple of necromancy. The door to Hades; the realm of the dead. This track shimmers with the dust of caverns far beyond the temporal light afforded to men. The lingering shadows of souls long lost to the ultimate dissolution of body and spirit wander here. Once again, the power of unholy melody is utilized to create an atmosphere most malevolent. Dual guitars, locked in a death-grip, portend a torrent of petrifying, yet alluringly welcome annihilation. This composition has long been in our live arsenal and now it is ready to be truly unfettered upon the unsuspecting ears of man.

‘The Lord of Death and Midnight’ contains lyrics composed during a weeklong sojourn through the glorious land of old & (un)hallowed Transylvania. Ancient, forgotten graves and tombs were long pondered upon while the hazy silhouette of the ever darkening Carpathian Mountains were slowly enveloped by a wood-smoke filled twilight. The spirit of old war and half-forgotten legends can still be felt here. The dead keep their secrets, try as we may to peer beyond their veil.
