oh good. i haven't heard the real version (hey can someone send me this album?) but I was thinking "damn, there's no way they wrote a 5 minute song like that". it seemed too cut-up and strange. very segmented.

I wonder if Opeth is worth it anymore... Anyone who's heard a full spin of Watershed care to share opinions? I haven't heard anything apart from this track and to be frank this track doesn't wow me.

I haven't cared about Opeth since after they released Deliverance (which I perceive to be an excellent album), but Watershed is really excellent. "Heir Apparent" is a ridiculously intense song. Who cares about what Opeth are doing these days, the music is great here and that's all that matters.
