Sounds like just the thing for someone like me who doesn't know a lot about the Ozzman's solo work. I would like to have seen Shot In The Dark included, but Ozzy wants us all to think that The Ultimate Sin never existed for some reason.

The songs from Blizzard and Diary are the new re-recorded versions apparently, but I guess you can't have everything.
This will be a huge success because of that idiotic TV show, so order your copy ASAP \m/.

According to the nice gentleman I spoke to at Sony, the Australian release date is March 17th.

Stupid complilations all the time. At least this one is pretty good except for the lack of Ultimate Sin material, that's his 2nd best album!!!

The thing I would do differently is get rid of some of the disc 2 songs and put the selections from No Rest For The Wicked on there. Then you could put 3 songs from The Ultimate Sin on disc 1... and it would be like disc 1 is Randy/Jake era and disc 2 is Zakk era. The No Rest For The Wicked songs sound alot more like the '90s stuff on disc 2 anyway so they'd fit better on there. One CD for the '80s sounding stuff and one CD for the Zakk stuff.

We already have a best of.

Ozzy's solo work is far superior to his work with Black Sabbath. Pure brilliance (if you don't count his last two albums).

I agree with Sydo, without Shot In The Dark it isn't a best of.

And I agree with Spiff, Ozzy's solo work was better than his work with Sabbath.

No, they rerecorded the bass and drums (I think) cos of contract disputes. Or something.

I don't think Ozzy would ever do something like that to Randy.
