YESSS! I just saw these 3 releases on i-tunes! I have the Jap cd of Pathosray but I bought all 3 anyway!:headbang:

If you have the import (with bonus tracks, I'm assuming?), why would you purchase the iTunes version?

***Well, The jap has a different bonus track as the Euro (on i-tunes)..I'm a sucker and I could have just bought the 1 bonus track but I clicked "purchase album" so now I can have it on my ipod without ripping the jap.

I'm disappointed so far with the new Pathosray. I really liked their debut, but there doesn't seem to be any memorable songs on the new one. I've only listened three times, maybe it will take a few more spins to click for me.

Metal people use iTunes? Really?:ill:

I'd rather just buy the CD.
Yes. I refuse to buy physical media at this point because I want the convenience of purchasing digital tracks. Cut the fat out, give me the music, and get more money. Score.

OP: Thanks for the heads-up, because I've been hoping Saint Daemon would show up somewhere. I picked up Pathosray and Loch Vostok on Amazon MP3.

I still like having a CD as a backup if the MP3s get deleted or damaged. I can always create MP3s of whatever bitrate I choose (balance file size with sound quality) and then put them on my iPod or other MP3 player. I also like the liner notes and lyrics. :)

Yeah, I don't think they should stop making albums anymore, I just refuse to buy them because I want the option and I'm past CDs at this point.

(As for losing MP3s, only if my house burned down, and maybe not even then. I work in IT, so I have a fairly robust backup of all of my important data, though I don't send my music off-site. Yet.)

Listening to the new Saint Deamon album right now through LaLa.com. Pretty cool. I like it and will certainly have to get a copy of this.

BTW, I refuse to use iTunes to get my music. Much rather get it through other sources ala eMusic, Amazon and LaLa, as well and just order it from Lance and others. The only thing I've ever used iTunes for is to get the occasional game for my iPod Touch.

So I got the new Saint Daemon album, and to be honest, i had a hard time finishing all of the songs. I thought the last one was gravy, but i'm not digging Pandaemonium :(

I was also just listening to the new Pathosray album on LaLa.com as well. I am also really liking this one as well. It will be a definite add for my collection.

New Pathosray is really good, ive been listening to it the past few weeks though I agree that it does not match the brilliance of the first album... still very good though. I have the new Saint Deamon as well but haven't listened to it yet, gonna review the Pathosray first and then dedicate my time to the Deamon. Great to see these bands popping up on iTunes. I bought the new Primal Fear off of iTunes last night and then saw the Saint Deamon listed under the "listeners also bought" category. Saint Deamon and Pathosray were both in my top 5 last year (with Nickelback, Testament, and Firewind). I am hoping the Deamon blows me away. Right now nothing has been able to touch Sacred Oath and Voodoo Circle for me as far as 2009 goes.

OK... did I miss a meeting? The new Pathosray is superb. I don't recall liking their previous effort. Have they changed their sound or band membership at all, or do I need to revisit their previous work? Gracias.

Their last album is pretty good as well, a very strong debut for a progressive metal band. I would check it out if I were you.

I like what I've heard of the new Saint Deamon and Pathosray. I thought S.D. really kicked things off to a good start when they opened Sat. at PPIX. I hope to get these cds soon. I've never tried itunes but have bought from Amazon. I still prefer the cd. I like the artwork, reading the booklet, pics, etc. I also think the sound is a little better. But I have got more music for my money from Amazon.

I don't think they've changed their sound much - it might be a bit heavier on the new album, but overall they still sound like Pathosray :)

The only member change is the guitarist.

I think they have progressed a bit and their sound is a little more polished but yes they still sound like Pathosray :)
