New PelleK

I haven't seen or heard anything about the new PelleK disc. Any opinions on it yet?

Well....it's good but not at all like the first 2. He has an amazing voice but the songs are "Disney like", slightly cheesy. With that said, for what it is, it's well done."Cloud Dancers" has 9 songs, each song between 3 and 4 minutes. If you're a fanboy you'll like it. The album cover represents it well. Here's one of the better songs.

The guy isn't a good enough songwriter to churn out a new album every year and have it actually be good. If he has enough fans who will eat it up to make it profitable, then great, but his solo material started out decent and hasn't progressed or improved at all. I'm still looking forward to the next Damnation Angels album, but he'd be well served to focus more on working with established songwriters and honing his craft, and less on doing hundreds of cover songs.

Huge letdown, especially after how much of an improvement his second album was over his first. It's cheesy, simple and generally forgettable, and this coming from a HUGE Pellek fan...
