I'm all about this. And yes, I likes the grind when done well (not just the lame goregrind stuff that gets rehashed) and I really like Pig Destroyer.

Magrudergrind are really good. I like their split with Shitstorm. Haven't picked up Pig Destroyer. I might at some point, but I don't seem to like them as much as everyone else does.

Not a huge fan of grind but I LOVE Pig Destroyer and TiTD...

Tremendous lifting & pissed off music. Nothing gets the blood flowing like them two bands.

This new one is right on par with the usual Pig Destroyer stuff. Longer songs this time around though and a generally fatter sound...more low end in the production which is a good thing. Still not sure if it matches the sheer tenacity of Terrifyer yet though. That album just rips the flesh from your bones.

i still haven't really listened to this much, wow. almost forgot i had it and i'm not even really sure why. i got painter of dead girls a few weeks ago and have been spinning that one regularly. some weird choices of covers on that one haha, when i think of pig destroyer i usually don't think of the dwarves and helmet but eh...

on another grindcore-related note, has anybody heard insect warfare?? some good shit...gonna be seeing these guys with unholy grave later this month...
