New Priest Samples Online!

Did they take down the samples?
Did Jayne get wind of leakage? ha ha

I thought they would stay up, so everyone could hear them.
I have heard retribution on the local radio stations here , which (if I can go off on a rant for a bit.
All kudos to Judas Priest. They were the metal gods that got me into the genre and then of course introduced me to my beloved Iron Maiden. And it is no secret that JP always got more airplay than IM but I think thaT when the radio stations had the opportunity to play Iron Maidens new records , either with or without Bruce they just plain didn't.
Here in Philly I will hear the DJ say "We've got the new Judas Priest song" and yea they prelude it with Living After Midnight or something but they do play it.
Why oh why do they not see the value of playing other bands who are as incredible and then their new records so us Metal heads can hear them?
Of course I am including Jag Panzer in my rant.

Anyway I could go on and on but it just doesn't make any senhse.

So if I did something wrong or if there is another link to the samples can someone please tell me how to listen to them. I like what I heard on the radio but I wouldn't mind hearing a bit of the other songs as well.
Thanks :)

Listened to the 2 first samples. The first bored me. The second was okay. Why is everyone orgasming about this band?

Lol, no, not at all. I listen to bands like Nevermore, Behemoth, Susperia, DImmu Borgir, Death, Borknagar, Persuader, Blind Guardian, Communic, Thine Eyes Bleed, Ram-Zet, etc. Do you see any black or techno bands in that list?

i was just kidding dude. you did'nt like the new songs, it's entirely your opinion. I'm totally cool with that.

Btw Persuader is one hell of a band. They're ones to watch for the future

Oh sorry I didn't know you were kidding. You should watch Communic, pretty amazing band too! They sound a lot like Nevermore.

From what I've heard, and I refuese to listen to more, the new album sounds great minus one stinker, Revol(u)tion, even the ballad Worth Fighting For is pretty good. Judas Rising, Demonizer, and Deal With The Devil are so good. I can't wait til it's released I want to hear Loch Ness badly.

Damn blizzard kept me from heading out to the highway to pick it up yesterday!

But it was definitely worth the wait, IMO. I practically deafened myself on the return home just listening to Judas Rising. That song alone makes the CD. But then it just seemed to kind of lose momentum after that. It didn't hurt it, but man if they would have kept up the pace they set with that track this disc might rival Painkiller in my mind.

But none the less I still love it. The Priest is back! :headbang:

I have to agree Harry. I'd also add Deal with the Devil for now. But I haven't really got to listen to Lochness much yet. Someone said in another review that there was a lot of guitar filler in that song. I guess when you have a 13 minute track that you'll have that though.

And you know despite all the hate for Revolution, I actually like that song. I know it's extremely modern, if not ridiculously commercial, but for some reason I find it catchy.

And I dont know about you, but I swear I've heard Hellrider somewhere before. It sounds very, very, familiar...
