New propsed copyright law (bill s.978) in the US

I don't exactly understand the bill.

What I'm getting from it, is if you posted a video on YouTube with you and a couple friends just talking, and in the background there is some copyrighted music being played, it is ILLEGAL?

from the wiki:
"Both Klobuchar and Coons have stated that the bill is not intended to affect the aforementioned aspects, instead it would only target websites or people who profit from illegally streaming copyrighted material."

Ok I upload my battlefield 3 game-play session on youtube, youtube is safe because it's not a video stream for which they could take money.
Youtube won't get money from my gameplay session, but they gain money from other videos (commercials before streaming videos). so how does this work?

Youtube doesn't make money from videos, it makes money from 'advertising', so I guess they could find a way out of this and/or it doesn't apply?

yeah not directly from videos but from the advertising, still they're a site making money out of the site.
I don't know if it's going to affect them or not. it shouldn't.... who knows anyway, I don't like the way that law has been formulated.
I like youtube ;) I don't wanna see it closed ;)
