New REVERENCE Video - "Bleed For Me"

Anyhow, this is one of my fav tunes off the album.
Glad they released a video for it.

No more generic than 95% of anything anyone recommends.

What I like most about this band if you hear the album is that it sounds old school without intentional lo-fi analog recording tactics.

I agree....this song isnt bad but nothing that is making me race out to get the album.

nope. This band would not even be mentioned my you if it didnt have past members of other bands in it.

just sounds like generic Firewind to me.

Absolutely.
As I mentioned before, their guitarist contacted me over a year ago to tell me about this band.
I checked out their demo stuff on their reverbnation and liked what I heard.
No doubt the fact that this band has an ex member of Tokyo Blade and an ex member of Savatage piqued my interest.

That's like saying Kai Hansen WASN'T a reason why anyone first checked out Gamma Ray.

Though this isn't at all the point I was making.
It was simply that most people on forums think that a band that they discovered first is gold.

For the record, that is not the case with REVERENCE.
They are certainly not reinventing anything here. I just think they are good at what they do and truly capture the 80s metal sound without studio trickery........
