Shadows Fall are imo, the best metalcore band by far. Although thats not saying much, those guys can fucking play and I like them.

Shadows Fall are not emo! They are traditional/power/thrash/ groove metal with some death vocals thrown here and there. They remind me of early Metallica, early Anthrax, early Megadeth, Testament and at times Pink Floyd and Tool. Also, they're a great band live and I've met them and they are humble, down to earth guys much like Nevermore. looking forward to pickin up this DVD.

i would say they are speed/thrash/death/prog/doom/modern/classic/groove/hardcore with some thrash/death and here and there rap vocals.also they remind me of maiden/judas/metallica/megadeth/testament/queensryche/tool/bee gees/abba/eros ramazzotti/dimmu borgir.
