I've known the Kat V dudes for a while now, and was shocked when I saw the announcement, I was like "that name sounds familiar...."
So, does this mean a relocation to Utah? Will he still be doing the gig
with his Chicago band? Or is it too early to be asking these questions?

Hey, it's not my fault I had to get up early to be at my internship site!
So far, there are no plans to move to Utah. I think the rest of KatV realize the benifit of having a member who lives in Chicago. Because, y'know, he can work on getting them gigs in Chi-town.
He's still with Bavmorda, and they might be working on new tunes, in addition to finishing up their album. However, I don't think Bavmorda will be playing out until the album is complete. I think they're in work mode, right now.
So, Dubbykins, you'll be the first in line to see Katagory V if they play in Chicago, right?
