awesome guitar sound first.
Perfect production, but maybe too much reverb and/or decay on the snare.
Not a huge fan of the song itself, there is a kind of nu-metal/devildriver vibe in the song i don't like. Just a matter of personal taste.
One of the best mixes i've heard on this forum so far, especially for the guitars.

Sounds great but I do have to agree with Djabthrash that the snare has a touch too much reverb. The song kicks ass though! What recording platform are you using?

. For a while there I was afraid this song wasn't heavy enough to get any attention on this forum. I'm not a big devil driver fan myself but I do admit that this song does have a similar sound. I didn't write it so you can put the blame for that on my guitar player and vocalist who did most of the writing and arrangement. The recording and production is all me though
. The room I tracked the drums in was completely dead so I had to drown the snare in reverb just to get it to fit in the mix. I'm trying to overcome this problem by remodeling my drum tracking room for more of a "live" sound to add some natural reverb so I won't have to add much during the mix. To answer coneyis's question I am using a Protools HD2 platform. Thanks again for listening.
