New song - Looking for feedback

I have just finished an instrumental rock/sort of metalish song. I am new to this and am having a hard time with the mix. In particular the drums, they just do not sound full to me.

The guitar and bass are plugged DI to computer.

The drums are programmed midi.

I would appreciate any feedback or ideas of what to do to this mix.

How is your guitar getting into the pc man? What equipment, and what software? real nice sound.

The drums are lacking a bit, but I liked it. Are you using Superior 2?

I have a fender blacktop strat with stock pickups --> M-Audio Firewire solo interface box via patch chord --> Overloud TH2 vst with metallica IR's (Death magnetic and justice for all) loaded through the cabinets in the VST --> Reaper.

I recorded the guitar tracks twice and panned them.

The drums are sampled in Battery 3. The sample library is called natural drum kit. I agree the drums are lacking. I have tried all sorts of compression, limiting etc. I just don't think I know enough about this stuff yet to get it sounding good.

Ah, I would look into getting SD2 man It'll improve your drums a lot!

I just use SD2, but tmf might be a good add on
