New song, tired of hearin it!

-Throw some bass

-Drums sound too much like rough (=unmixed/unprocessed) EZdrummer drums. Needs some tweaking IMO.

-Guitars seem good.

Summed it up perfectly.

Get a bass in there so you/we can hear how the guitars and drums will sit with it. But as it is, the guitars sound nice.

all right, thx so far! i will do some bass tracks in the next weeks. what can i do to make the drums sound better? what do you allways do to get some good sound out of it?

A lot of useful info about how to tweak drums here :

I'd start with EQ-ing the kick and the snare. If doesn't sound good i'd try using other samples.

Then toms. Then cymbals/hihat/ride.

Then add some good reverb to the snare and then to the toms.

Then start messing up with compression.

I always end up using dfh together with drumagog and a couple of sneap samples. helps avoiding processing the hell out of the kit. but the drumkit doesn't sound much old-school, if you'Re up for such a sound!
