Not too bad actually. I had pretty low expectations for this, because I didn't like much after BadMotorFinger. But, we'll see.

This song was recorded during the Badmotorfinger sessions but unreleased until now. However, some of the vocal tracks Chris recorded this year, actually (nobody knows which ones, impressive regardless.)

As for new material, etc., read this Spin magazine interview, it gives a pretty good perspective of where these guys are at (a lot of crazy shit I never knew before.):

I'm hoping they do a new record, but it depends entirely on if they feel up to it. Buy the single on iTunes, maybe that will encourage them, I dunno.

No offence to any fans of those bands but AIC and STP are nowhere near the caliber of Soundgarden. AIC comes close, but they were too scattered in their sound.

I completely agree, Soundgarden have always been the superior band, my favourite band from that era. I love everything Soundgarden has ever done, and if they were going to do another album, it would be the best album of the year

AIC and STP were the only other "grunge" bands i could think of that have done new material recently haha
