What do you think about this one, particulary the guitars? It's a new track that I mixed and opinions are welcome.

The clean vocals remind me of a band around here called PTB.
The mix could sound good, but at the moment lacks some fullness in instruments.

Hey! Thanks for the comment, but I don't understand what you mean by lack some fullness hehe, the instruments are too bright? Or is the other way?

Yet another great job man! Sounds really good to me and the only opinion I can really add is to agree somewhat with Nebulous about needing a little fullness in the sound ... but no so much in any particular instrument, again for me its in the vocals. Just a little too thin sounding in some spots. Maybe find a good spot somewhere in the upper mids and give it a slight EQ boost to help add a little more "teeth" to the cleaner vocals so that they don't blend so evenly with the guitars. The harsh vocals stand out nice, you may want to try adjusting the cleaner vox just a little so that they jump out a little more.

Other than that, very nice mix and cool song.

It's the guitars for me, they sound killer but there is some upper end in the mix (that I think could be found in the guitars) that just isn't biting for me.

Was this quad to double tracked?

I don't think it lacks fullness, just maybe some more low end on the guitars.

The bass guitar is a bit boomy as well.

The guitars are double tracked, they were recorded in late 2006 and I just found this great forum this year hehe.
Yes, I agree that the bass is a bit boomy as well, I thought it was from my speakers great to now that it wasn't.
