I loved the first album. I was really sad to see Kyle leave the band because I thought he was a killer guitarist. Not to mention I thought that Threat Signal had some incredibly bad ass guitar parts.

I LOVE threat signal, but hate their cleanish vocals. When the verse comes in, I literally freak.
i love Jon's clean vocals. in fact I think theres not enough clean vox on this song for me.
the chorus is not that clean, the vox is very saturated.
the first riff is really tasty.
to bad it sounds like its programmed drums again ?

You're all judging the sound off of a myspace player. LOL. I also don't think that these are the final mixes or masters either. I highly doubt they would keep the guitar tone the way it is; because you're right, it does sound kind of muddy. I like the song though. I just hope the final product has that nice crisp tone I loved in the first album!

I'm putting my money on the guitars being all POD. I've met their new guitarist Travis a few times when he flew up to SLC to hang with a few guys I know - and he pretty much sticks with Superior/POD. From what I know the whole album was programmed/tracked at home.
