New to mixing. Please help with rough tracks.

These are a couple of songs my band is working on. I haven't gotten bass or vocals recorded yet but I already feel like the guitars aren't getting the kind of clarity I want. If anyone has any ideas for cleaning this up it would be appreciated.

I'm using Superior Drummer for drums. The two songs have very different presets.

4 Guitar tracks. The signal chain is Ibanez S Series-Yamaha AudioGram-Cubase Noisegate-Tse 808-Lecto/Legion/TSEX30 (distorted) or Lextac (clean)-LeCab2 with a combination of Catharsis, God's Cab, and Kalthallen Impulses

something sounds very wrong with the guitars. i don't really know where to start. how are you monitoring ur mix? iPhone earbuds? If you can't hear the problems i don't really know how to help. Get Ermz's new book.
