Finally decided to get my first proper condenser microphone for vocals and possibly some acoustic guitars in future. After reading a shit load of reviews ive settled for the Rode NT1a and it should be here tommorow sometime :Smokin: Lovely!

Yeah I heard about that, some people said it was quite harsh...I thought the presence boost would be a nice touch in cutting through a mix!

There are a lot of people here that will tell you that this microphone is total crap. I on the other hand have it and don't have any problems with it.
I used it for vocals and acoustic guitars and I was satisfied with the results....

Just used it for vocals today and it sounds fucking cracking!!! Dosent need a any EQ adding (unusual for me) and just sits perfectly. A good investment!
