Looks like they solved the problem with the UAD-1 being vastly underpowered. The UAD-2 Quad has 10x the processing power of the the old cards.
Bloody expensive, but the Quad Flexi pack may be an option if I get too tempted as it has the $500 plugin voucher included.
The UAD-2 will co-exist with the old cards as well which is nice.
The only thing that irked me is that if you don't upgrade this year they will charge you $25 per plug to migrate them onto the new platform. That sucks considering you've already paid for them once.
