I fucking love Ulcerate!
I hate having to listen to single tracks from upcoming albums though. I should stop letting myself do so, always affects my ability to really judge a piece of music. Ulcerate especially, since they're one of those bands that seems to only really work in a full album context.
This sounds pretty sick though, not really much changed, but I'm not complaining.
Wouldn't blame anyone for thinking this is off Everything Is Fire though, mix sounds near identical. Vocalist sounds quite different though.
Either way, digging the fuck out of this, heavily.

Yeah, I can't think of many occaisions I put that one on sober. It's definitely one to get completely lost in.
The earlier ones I put on far more often in the grand scheme of things, if I'm just looking for a nice bit of brutality while I'm doing the dishes or something, just something to chill to, but Everything Is Fire is an incredibly deep listen if you let it be, it swallows you whole into an ocean (the flow itself of the music I find to be very oceanic and organic, less "LOOK AT ME" riffs, more just constant transitions and liquidy riffs that go where they please.)
So yes, GET BAKED AS FUCK AND LISTEN TO IT MORE
That's the first thing I thought when listening to it. Definitely has the Gorguts vibe, which is fine by me. :Spin:
