I think the drum machines and midi keyboards make those songs sound really cheap, takes a lot of punch away from otherwise powerful music. That's one hell of a sword he's got there though, maybe I should just STFU...

I actually just got into this band recently and am still working my way through their earlier material. Probably getting Invictus and the House of Atreus discs first...

As for the 2 songs I've got to agree with Tsorl here, I'm not too crazy about the drum machine and the overall "computerized" sound. Great songwriting otherwise, but I'm afraid that it won't shine because of the amateurish production. Their previous records had a much better production...

@Tsorl : Everything VS released between 1995 and 2000 is strongly recommended Marriage of Heaven and Hell Part 1 and 2, Invictus, House of Atreus Part 1 and 2. These are some of my favorite metal albums ever.

You said it bro! A new VS album has been at the very top of my wishlist for months & months, and it's (almost) finally here.
Stupid firewall's keeping me from hearing the sample tracks though... dammit.

Anybody not familiar w/ VS has gotta go get a copy of House of Atreus Act 1... that's one of my favorite albums of alltime.

Anybody know where I can buy Visions for a reasonable price???
I can't find it for less than $30, which is too much for me. It was s'posed to have been released in US yesterday (I think?) but I can't find it anywhere. Their label must not be giving them very good distribution.

Aw that sucks man, a band such as VS deserves a better distribution in its own country!

I've seen the album in stores over here but I haven't bought it yet, probably my next purchase.
