As BLABBERMOUTH.NET first reported yesterday, SPV Records has now confirmed that W.A.S.P.'s new album, "Dominator", has had its projected release date pushed back to "end of January" 2007 from the previously announced November 13 (Europe) / November 21 (U.S.). "W.A.S.P. is currently on tour [in] Europe until December and will be putting the final touches on the album upon arriving home," a statement from the label reads.

A video interview with W.A.S.P. guitarist Doug Blair, conducted on Friday, September 22 in Oulu, Finland, has been posted online at groups.myspace.com/WASPGROUP. A number of photos from W.A.S.P.'s gig at the Teatria Club in Oulu have been posted online at www.mesta.net. Support at the show came from TAROT, featuring NIGHTWISH bassist Marco Hietala.

I am psyched for the "Burn" cover, and I hope this is just a good rocking album, instead of another sad attempt to recreate The Crimson Idol.
