Sweden's WITCHERY, the group featuring THE HAUNTED guitarist Patrik Jensen and ARCH ENEMY bassist Sharlee D'Angelo, have begun composing material for the follow-up to 2001's "Symphony For The Devil", tentatively due in early 2004.
The following is a recent online posting from Jensen outlining the group's current activities:
"New songs have been written. [Guitarist] Richard [Corpse] and I are trading CDR's with new stuff (since we live in different cities which makes it hard to jam together). I'd say we have around 4-5 new songs for the next [WITCHERY] album. We actually had talked to Berno at the Berno Studios about recording in late August, but I think it'll be a bit later than that, due to both [bassist] Sharlee [D'Angelo]'s and my busy schedule... however the recording will definitely happen during the next 4-5 months. We also have a record label, so [there are] no truth to [rumors that we are looking for a deal]."
woo hoo. its about time
