Very awesome. I didn't like the last Wolf album. It was the first time I didn't like a Wolf album. This bodes very well for the new cd.

See I thought the last album was better than people said. I love this band, but I'm really not digging this. They used to be one of the most consistent metal bands out there. That said I probably still will buy this the first day.

very very very lackluster...not liking this polished version of the band...liked the earlier stuff a whole lot more. this is like 3rd rate power metal.

Not too crazy about this one. I think Wolf has been only good for a song or two per album since Evil Eye.

The band comments: People have asked us about the making of the Devil Seed album. Luckily our guitar player Simon Johansson took a camera to the studio and recorded a studio diary so people can see whats going on behind the scenes. Citizens of Europe, mark August 25th in your calendars, citizens of North America, mark September 2nd in your calendars because that´s the day this baby is born! Meanwhile we bring you the Making of Devil Seed: The Studio Diary.
This time around, the wolves have teamed up with Jens Bogren (Kreator, Paradise Lost, Opeth) over at Fascination Street Studios and have delivered not only a heavy sounding release but also one chock full of clarity and complexity. With cover artwork being created once again by legendary designer Thomas Holm (Mercyful Fate, King Diamond), all the elements are aligned for this fierce slab of pure heavy metal mayhem.
Simon Johansson (guitars) comments: Wolf is back and once again we have worked with the amazing Thomas Holm for the album art. Thomas has a way of catching the feeling of an album and to put colors to our music. This time Niklas Stålvind also contributed to some drawings found in the booklet and the collaboration between the two of them turned out great. Devil Seed starts as an embryo and when you least aspect it you find yourself dancing with the Devil.
