Whoa you did? That's seriously amazing, try buying some Fates Warning and Psychotic Waltz and see the light appearing n front of you. "Still" is a marvelous album and Wolverine is one of the most underrated (underrated, not unknown eh) progressive metal band of our times.
Funny, I just spun Still today .. it was the first time in a while. It's my favorite disc from Wolverine, but it was also the first one I've heard, and perhaps it stuck in my head and defined the band for me.I never really gave "Still" much of a chance. "Cold Light..." is what sold me on this band, and it's one of the greatest "rainy day" albums ever made IMO.
Well CLOM is probably my favourite Wolverine album so i'd normally say "yes" but i don't know how much you will like its soft sound.Never heard anything after Window Purpose. Should I?
I need to spend some time with Cold Light Of Monday here soon .. bought it down at Prog Power, and I need to give it some proper spins. It never caught on with me a year or so ago when I gave it a handful of spins.
I'll do that. I'm also not sure why they haven't been asked to PP yet. I'm considering the idea of sponsoring them for Chicago Powerfest .. I really want to see them perform. Hopefully Powerfest will put forth some sponsorship guidelines soon, so I can see if it will fit in the budget.Just go straight to: "Sarah" and "Carousel".
I'm not a big prog fan simply because I find it to lack emotion much of the time (it sounds too clinical) but those two songs exude emotion like you wouldn't believe.
I'm amazed they've never played the stage at PP USA yet.
