Hi all

Two little and simple questions from one who has just listened to "The Gallery" for the first time:

who play bass on "the gallery" and what bass he used? (mark and model)

I think Villain could help you... The bass sound and playing on The Gallery is great, as it was on Skydancer. TMI has the worst DT production imo, the bass drum is mixed too high, burying the bass guitar.

Sorry, it appears I can't help you here. I checked around, but could find no mention of their old instruments anywhere - you should be able to find their current equipment on the DT homepage, though. You could search through their old interviews; I recall they have at least answered questions about their guitars, so you might have some hope left. I never paid much attention on such comments as I can't tell a bass from a dwarf.

However, if this info is very crucial to your mental stability, I could always try and ask if Martin H. himself remembers what he used on The Gallery - although I guarantee no response.

You could try to find a copy of the World Domination Tour video off some file sharing program. You might be able to recognize the guitar he uses, I sure can't.

If you search far and wide enough on this board, you find part of your answer. Michael Nicklasson (or as he has better known here, warwick) was selling the bass amp used in that period iirc, and therefore you could find out which that is...
