I finally went and picked up something I've wanted for a long time.



That's it! Otari MX5050 tape machine! 200 bucks with 4 track mode and LED VU meters, pretty freakin sick. Only one side is calibrated, the other channel needs some work but plays fine, just too dark. I do a lot of different music styles hence the tape, but I wanna see what it can do to amp sim tracks! Take that nasty edge right off!

This one is just 1/4 inch tape. Costs me nothing as I have a box of 10 brand new one's that was given to me. Normally, 7 1/2 inch reels are $25 and 10 1/2 inch reels are 50-100 depending on what you get. What is hard is finding tape to buy without ebay! And I'm in freakin Nashville!
