Guitar is in, after 8 weeks of horrible waiting! :D

Quick review...

Looks: Fucking awesome.
Playability: Fucking awesome. Stainless steel frets and satin finish make for an incredibly smooth and effortless experience, and the neck is very comfortable. It's bigger than my 6 string guitars, but its not difficult to adjust to.
Sound: Acoustic sound is really good! But the stock strings are kind of small (56 for a low A? No thanks). I need to put thicker strings before I give a full review, but so far it's really great. Plugged in it sounds great as well, which I wasn't expecting given Carvin's pickup's terrible reputation.

Oh right, pics.

I find it funny that it's in the grass. Like you're trying to capture it in its natural habitat.

Very nice playing guitars- I borrowed Adam's for a while. Passive pickups were a bit hard to work with though for metal stuff.

Nice guitar, though I think it would have killed if it had a Schecter headstock (I love Schecter headstocks :p). Anyway, I love the paint job. What do those 2 little switches do?

Cool looking guitar, congrats! I also became a member of the carvin family 3 months ago, great instruments. I wasn't impressed by the pickups though, I've replaced them with a dimarzio crunch lab and seymour duncan '59.
Personally I find all those little switches annoying and kinda useless, I told them to remove them and leave only the volume pot and a 5-way switch in mine.

>Loving the green finish with the neck-through skunk stripe running down the center. Nice guitar man - I'm sure it sounds great too.

Thanks everyone!

Haha, nice! Reminds me of my DC127 or whatever the fuck it is...

That is hot! I love green guitars.

You mean ESP F headstock? :D Yeah, those are some of my favorites... But I like the Carvin a lot too. Its similar but not as pointy.

Those guitars play SOOOOOOO fucking well.

I'm jealous as fuck....and good call on the finish. Green is a very underrated color for fiddles for some reason.

Indeed! It plays awesome.

I like the bridge pickup a lot actually.. Not sure if I'll keep it, I kind of want to experiment. The neck pickup is going to go though, it's too thin and bright.

nice dude! i get my new one in a few weeks. my other was very similar but with a flamed maple top

Sweet! Post pics when you get it

i have a purple Carvin CT-4 with floyd rose. I love it as far as playbality...floyd rose is kind of an adjustment for me as im not used to having one (but i love me some whammy tricks). Ebony fretboard, mahogony body/maple top. Grover tuners. The pickups are ok ( C22 in bridge, not sure about neck) but not ideal, im thinking of throwing in a Dimarzio Crunch Lab and Air Norton. My only gripe is that its 22 fret and not 24. I think next time im going to custom shop a DC like the one above. I picked this one up off the wall at the carvin store and fell in love with it.
