Me and Dis warming up by watching some heavy metal concert vidz (Mütiilation playing in the picture, but after them came Nifelheim, video from Under the Black Sun '01)

After some Nifelheiming, we couldn't resist spiking up and being very metal whilst watching the video again. Unfortunately, Dis only has too big or too small metal clothes, and she hasn't come to proper spike-age yet.

They bled on me too, kool huh? (Babysitters as a bonus in one picture!) Most of the blood moved to the inside of my denim jacket on the way home though

Because nordic mythology is hellakool and metal and has a bunch of those. And Norwegian.

why are there a gazillion bands there with names ending in ...heim?

Bands ending in -heim (or a variant of it like -heimr) tend to have a name that refers to a location place in Norse mythology, and the suffix approximates to "home of" or "land of." In NIFEHLEIM's case their name vaguely means "land of mist." There are plenty more like Svartalfheim for the land of black/dark elves, Muspellheim for land of fire, etc.

That's a pretty fuck-awesome setlist. Someone needs to bring Nifelheim over stateside, and soon. An Absu/Nifelheim/Destroyer 666 tour would be perfect.
